Welcome to the Lesbian Health Foundation

The mission of the Lesbian Health Foundation is to increase awareness and understanding of the special health needs of lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered women among policy makers, health care professionals, researchers, and the public.

The Lesbian Health Foundation provides:

• A web-based resource for research, information and services on health issues affecting lesbians, bisexual women, and transgendered individuals.

• Education and training for health care professionals so that they may better serve their lesbian, bisexual, and transgender clients.

• A national Speaker’s Bureau for educating and raising awareness of the special health needs of lesbians, bisexual women, and transgendered individuals.
